Tackling disruption linked to pony and trap racing

Last weekend saw a significant operation by Thames Valley Police to enforce a dispersal order on the A413 and neighbouring roads around Chalfont St Peter and Gerrard’s Cross. This large police presence prevented an expected large event that could have seen hundreds, or even thousands gather for pony and trap racing. Yet it displaced some racing to Oxfordshire.

Thames Valley Police launches antisocial behaviour campaign 'It's that antisocial'

Have you ever experienced nuisance neighbours, loud and disruptive road users or people using drugs in your area? 

And have you ever thought ‘I didn’t think it was serious enough to report’ or been told ‘it’s not that bad’ or ‘not that antisocial’? 

Well, whether it is repetitive loud music, inconsiderate behaviour or vandalism, we are here to tell you: It’s that antisocial.

Jason Hogg reinstated as Thames Valley’s Chief Constable

I can announce today that Jason Hogg is returning to his duties as Chief Constable of Thames Valley police with immediate effect.

Whilst the IOPC will continue their investigation, I am pleased to be able to reinstate the Chief Constable to continue his work leading Thames Valley Police. I have always had confidence in Jason Hogg as Chief Constable and I look forward to continuing working in partnership with him on behalf of communities in Thames Valley.
