Police dogs join the mission to tackle drink spiking in the Thames Valley
Our search dogs aren’t just pretty faces, their expert noses can detect items such as cash, explosives and sim cards. Now PD Atlas and PD Major, our drugs specialists, are being trained as part of a pilot to detect drugs that are most commonly associated with drink spiking offences.
Commercial vehicles inspected during road safety campaign
The Commercial Vehicle Unit helps to ensure road safety by monitoring light and heavy goods vehicles on our roads. These vehicles can often cause the most harm in the event of road traffic collisions.
