PCC joins Friday night patrol of Reading town centre
First Stop are a night time first aid and pastoral care project, set up by Reading Borough Council with Transform Reading. They operate every Friday and Saturday night from 9pm to 3am in Reading town centre. Volunteers work alongside paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service and provide first aid and support to those who need it.

Police & Crime Commissioner visits prisoner support charity as part of ongoing engagement activity
On Friday (20/1), Matthew Barber visited prisoner support charity BACO at the Youth Offending Service Offices in Aylesbury. The visit provided an opportunity for Matthew to find out how £5,000 of funding, awarded via the PCC’s Community Fund, will support BACO to help prevent crime across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes.
