Police and Crime Commissioner for Thames Valley, Matthew Barber, and Chief Constable, John Campbell, have awarded voluntary and community organisations £100,106 in the first round of this year’s Community Fund.

Thames Valley Police is releasing the latest results of Project Vigilant, an initiative that targets those displaying predatory behaviour in the night-time economy.

This morning I opened the Thames Valley Police Conference on Violence Against Women and Girls, looking at some of the practical steps that can be take to improve the approach to tackling domestic abuse, public place safety and rape and sexual assault cases.

Matthew Barber is working with local community safety partnerships to bid for a share of the £150 million funding that will be made available in the fourth round of our Safer Streets Fund.
