Thames Valley Police announces 2022 Community Policing Awards winners
Thames Valley Police is proud to announce the 2022 Community Policing Awards winners following the award ceremony at Easthampstead Park in Bracknell on 22 June.
These awards recognise the outstanding efforts of neighbourhood policing teams, including police community support officers, volunteers and cadets for the positive impact they have on the communities they serve.
Earlier this year, nominations opened for the 21st year for members of the public, the force and partner agencies to submit nominations for those who they felt had enhanced the service that Thames Valley Police offers.
A final judging panel, chaired by Local Policing Assistant Chief Constable Tim De Meyer, reviewed the nominations.
ACC De Meyer said: ““The Community Policing Awards give residents, community organisations, businesses and colleagues the opportunity to recognise members of our force who they believe have gone above and beyond in their role to protect their community.
“The response we received from members of the public for 2022 was exceptional and it was inspiring to see the positive impact the winners and other nominees are having on the lives of residents across the Thames Valley.
“Selecting the winners was a challenging but rewarding experience for the panel and I would like to congratulate all of this year’s winners for their hard work and dedication.
“I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to vote this year. We are proud to be Thames Valley Police.”
