Police & Crime Commissioner visits prisoner support charity as part of ongoing engagement activity
On Friday (20/1), Matthew Barber visited prisoner support charity BACO at the Youth Offending Service Offices in Aylesbury. The visit provided an opportunity for Matthew to find out how £5,000 of funding, awarded via the PCC’s Community Fund, will support BACO to help prevent crime across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes.
Thames Valley Police has grown by an additional 582 police officers in less than four years
582 police officers have been recruited in Thames Valley since September 2019, as part of the national Uplift Programme, this brings the total number of officers up to 4,832 by the end of December 2022.
